A. Registration Agreement, Registration Process and Payment Methods
1. Registration Agreement
Acceptance of Terms
By registering for AMS 2024, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to read and understand all policies related to the Symposium.
Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information during the registration process. Any changes to your registration details should be promptly communicated to the Symposium Office.
Liability Waiver
By attending the Symposium, you acknowledge that you participate at your own risk. AMS 2024 and its organizers are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage that may occur during the event.
2. Registration Process
How to Register
Registration for AMS 2024 can be completed online through our official registration portal or by submitting a completed registration form to the Symposium Office. Please ensure all required fields are filled out accurately.
Confirmation of Registration
Registration will be confirmed only after receipt and processing of the completed registration form and payment. A confirmation email will be sent to you once your registration is finalized.
Early and Late Registration
Registrants are encouraged to register early to take advantage of reduced fees. Registration received after the early registration deadline will incur the standard or late registration fees as outlined in the Terms and Conditions.
3. Payment Methods
Accepted Payment Methods
Payments for registration can be made using major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or through bank/wire transfers. Please select your preferred payment method during the registration process.
Payment Deadlines
Payment must be received by the specified deadlines to ensure your registration at the applicable rate. Late payments will not be accepted.
Confirmation of Payment
Once payment is processed, you will receive a confirmation email. Please retain this confirmation as proof of payment. Incomplete or failed transactions may result in delays or cancellation of registration.
Refunds and Adjustments
Refunds for cancellations will be processed according to the cancellation policy outlined in the Terms and Conditions. Please refer to the cancellation policy for details on how and when refunds will be issued.
4. Visa Procedures
We are not responsible for visa procedures, which fall under the jurisdiction of the Indian Government Policies. We will issue invitations to those who have registered, but we are not responsible for attendees’ travel arrangements or visas. Travel allowances and travel insurance are not included in the registration fee.
5. Accommodation
Accommodation costs are not included in the registration fee. Attendees are responsible for arranging and covering their own lodging expenses. While we will provide guidance on nearby accommodations, payment for these is not included in the registration fee.
6. Personal Belongings and Health
Attendees are responsible for their own belongings and any associated risks. We are not liable for any personal losses or damages. Attendees should carry necessary medical reports and assume responsibility for their health.
7. Committee Decisions
The AMS 2024 Committee’s decisions are final, and rules and regulations may be subject to change.
B. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Deadlines
Notification of cancellation must be received by October 1, 2024, to be eligible for a non-refundable cancellation. Cancellations received after this date will not be accepted. The AMS 2024 Committee retains sole discretion regarding all cancellation requests.
Cancellation Process
To cancel, please submit a written request to the AMS 2024 Symposium registration team via [ams2024.iitm@gmail.com].
Ensure your registration details are included in the cancellation request.
No Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 30 days of receiving the cancellation request.

Substitutions
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. Written notification of the substitution must be provided at least 30 days prior to the event.
Force Majeure
Should the AMS 2024 Symposium be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics), we will offer a full refund or the option to transfer your registration to a rescheduled event.
No-Show Policy
No cancellations will be accepted once the Symposium has commenced. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. A no-show is defined as failing to attend after the event has started.

Liability and Indemnification
By accepting these terms and conditions, participants agree to indemnify and hold AMS 2024 and its organizers and agents harmless from any loss, damage, injury, actions, proceedings, or claims arising from their participation in the Symposium.
C. Symposium Program
Symposium program is subject to change.
D. Participation and Behavior at AMS 2024
Attendance and Participation
Attendance at specific AMS 2024 sessions, meetings, or activities may be limited to designated participants or invited guests, subject to approval by the event organizers. This includes any special meetings or exclusive sessions that may be part of the Symposium.
Professional Conduct
Attendees are expected to maintain a professional demeanor throughout the Symposium. This includes:
Respectful Communication: Avoid using obscene language or engaging in abusive or threatening behavior towards other participants.
Positive Environment: Ensure that interactions are conducive to a positive and constructive learning environment.
Any behavior deemed disruptive or inappropriate may result in immediate removal from the Symposium, and potential future bans from AMS events.
E. Personal Information
Data Storage and Use
Participation contact details will be stored in the AMS 2024 database and used solely by the event organizers for Symposium-related purposes. Credit card information is not recorded or stored.
Sharing of Contact Information
Unless the Symposium Office receives a specific request from a registrant indicating that they do not wish to share their contact information (submitted through the Registration Form), a list of all attendees, including their affiliation institutions and email addresses, will be included in the delegate packs.
Email Communications
Email addresses provided will be used to send important last-minute details and announcements about future AMS events.
Data Deletion
If you wish to have your personal information removed from our records after the Symposium, please notify the event organizers by email at [ams2024.iitm@gmail.com] or in writing to the AMS 2024 Symposium Coordination Office.
F. AMS 2024-Provided Internet Access (Acceptable Use Policy)
The following uses of AMS 2024-provided Internet access are prohibited:
Legal Compliance
Use of the Internet access must not involve any violations of local, state, or federal laws.
Property Protection
Vandalizing, damaging, or disabling the property of any individual or organization is strictly forbidden.
Unauthorized Access
Accessing another individual’s materials, information, or files without proper authorization is prohibited.
Security Exploits
The use of scanning or hacking tools to exploit public networks is not allowed.
Intellectual Property
Violating copyright laws or using the intellectual property of others without permission is not permitted. AMS 2024 is not liable for any issues related to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
G. Personal Property
Liability Disclaimer
AMS 2024 and its organizers accept no responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property. Attendees are encouraged to take care of their belongings and secure them at all times.
