This study investigates the complex, interconnected climate patterns across East African countries, we analyze average monthly data (2010-2023) on temperature, rainfall, humidity, and wind speed in major cities. Pearson correlation is used to determine the strength of relationships between these climate variables across different cities, while Granger causality tests capture whether past values of one variable predict future values of another. This unique approach uncovers distinct climate zones, identifies leading and lagging climate variables within them, and sheds light on the complex relationships between these variables across the region. The findings enhance our understanding of East Africa's climate dynamics and empower decision-making in agriculture, disaster management, and construction.
