Curated Protein Aggregation Database

CPAD 2.0 database contains the following information related to the mechanistic and kinetic aspect of protein aggregation:
(i) Database for amyloid peptides, data on experimentally known amyloid-forming peptides, non-amyloids, their physiochemical features and aggregation propensity. This database can be accessed by clicking on Amyloid Proteins and Peptide.
(ii) Aggregation-Prone Regions (APRs): Experimentally known hot-spot regions prone to aggregation in amyloidogenic protein.
(iii) Database of experimental data collected from the various aggregation related experiments (such as Thioflavin assay, congo-red assay, etc.) to measure the kinetics of protein aggregation. Click on Aggregation Kinetics to access the database.
(iv) Database for structures of aggregation-related proteins. It contains the amyloidogenic proteins/mutants, their fibril structure and complex with aggregation rate inhibitor/enhancer ligand. Click on Structure of Aggregating Proteins to access the database.
