Aggregation Prone Regions

Many protein sequences comprise a single or several small aggregation prone regions, which nucleate protein aggregation. We have collected information on experimentally validated aggregation prone regions (APRs) in human amyloidogenic proteins. The data includes the name of the protein, amino acid sequence, aggregation prone regions and aggregating peptides obtained by experiments such as Electron Microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Congo Red staining, FT-IR and Raman spectroscopy along with source references.

For accessing the data choose one of the following:

(* denotes any amino acid in the given position)

Please submit a valid query to display the APRs.
